The ELT Easy Green™ Living Wall is a modular living wall panel that can be either pre-Grown or planted in place. Its rugged construction and ease of installation make it a perfect choice for people looking to Expand their Gardens in new and exciting ways.

Material Data:

UV resistant 100% Recyclable black HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

We chose HDPE for its recycleability and long life. It is one of the few plastics that can be recycled back into itself fully. The black colour also means that the plastic will be more UV stable without as many chemical additives. This plastic is also very resistant to chemicals found in fertilizers ensuring a very long product life span.

Drainage and Irrigation:

Each panels is designed to have water flow through the panel without pulling the soil along with it. This is achieved through the use of a series of grooves that channel the water towards the back of the panel ensuring complete saturation with a minimum amount of effort and water. The design also leaves a small reservoir of water in each cell to help the plants through droughts.

Panels are designed to be irrigated from the top using either a simple soaker hose (exterior applications) or a drip tray system (included with the indoor kits). Some plants may benefit from additional foliar feeding using a misting spray bottle (this is generally reserved for ferns and other tropical plants).

Soil Recommendations:

The type of soil used will depend somewhat upon the type of plants chosen for the living wall. For most plant types a high quality general purpose potting soil will provide best results both indoors and out. When planting the wall ensure that you compact the soil into each cell in the living wall adding water to solidify the mix.
