Intensive GreenRoofs

Intensive green roofs are used in applications where there are factors that justify spending more per square foot to garner more than just the environmental benefits of a green roof. Roofs that are accessible by either the public or tenants can provide many social benefits and a state of well being. Intensive green roofs can and quite often do include hardscaping, deeper depths of growth medium, more weight per square ft, a wide variety of planting options and more intensive maintenance.
